AfriConvert Business API for Cross-Border Data

The AfriConvert Business API provides a controlled way for approved organizations to use AfriConvert's normalized cross-border data in products, workflows and analysis. Available resources cover market and official rate records, historical observations, provider metadata, corridors, exact-amount provider payout comparisons and rate/provider intelligence. AfriConvert does not execute transfers through this API.

FX and Historical Rate Data

Retrieve current market and official rate records for supported pairs and historical pair observations. Historical rate requests support up to 90 days per request, giving applications recent context without scraping public pages.

Provider, Corridor and Payout Comparison Data

Use provider catalog metadata, declared and observed corridor coverage, and exact-amount payout comparison data. Quote responses use exact-amount sources and AfriConvert's verified fallback architecture rather than manufacturing a payout by scaling a quote from a different transfer amount.

Sandbox, Production and Scoped Credentials

Organizations can request capabilities for sandbox or production, then create credentials after approval. Sandbox and production keys are distinct, keys can be rotated or revoked, usage is metered and production access is gated by organization, capability, contract, policy and enforcement controls.

Predictable Launch Plans

AfriConvert Business offers a free Sandbox tier with up to 1,000 included request units per month, plus paid production plans with included monthly request units; no automatic overage billing at launch. Enterprise access is available on custom commercial terms.
