Why provider rates differ

Understand why market, central-bank and provider rates may not match.

A reference market rate is not necessarily the rate a provider offers a customer.

Providers can apply spreads, fees, promotions and corridor-specific pricing. Central-bank reference rates can also serve a different purpose from live market pricing.
